Abbotsholme’s ski team have been selected to race for an elite team in Val Thorens under the supervision of the Abbotsholme School Skidirector of racing and former world cup racer Timothee Theaux.

Nine year old Elektra, eleven year old Jemima, and Isobel, aged 13, joined Abbotsholme School, a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school for ages 4-18, with additional nursery provision, in September last year.

The school encourages outdoor activity through its OED programme and also delights in the additional hobbies and talents of its pupils, especially at the growing talents of the Brown girls at ski-ing.

The sisters have been given this opportunity following a great few weeks of ski-ing. Jemima obtained Bronze in the skier cross, Elektra won Silver, and Isobel won all gold medals beating the boys!

The girls will be competing in the British Alpine Championships in Meribel and the Three Valleys Enduro, the largest ski race in the world, over Easter, with their next competition in Val Thorens and the Aiglon College Cup in March.
