The Erskine May Hall was alive with roars on Monday 12th November as boys at Bedford Prep School enjoyed bringing the monsters from the much-loved children’s book ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ to life with a little help from some friends.Bedford School Where the wild things are

The boys from Years 3 and 4 spent a fun morning working with local theatre group, No Loss Productions, on characters and how to establish a suitably magical atmosphere in which to set the story.

With the help of music and original artwork by local artist David Litchfield, the boys learnt about key elements of drama, and received professional advice from the actors at the end of the morning.

With their new found knowledge the boys will perform their version of the story on 7th December. Then, the following week the boys will enjoy the professional production by No Loss Productions at The Place Theatre.
