Head Master, James Hodgson, said “I am delighted for this year group.  Having already excelled on stage, in the music school, on the sports field, in their fundraising efforts for charity and in their leadership of the school, they have now excelled in the exam hall.  Each year, around 75% of our Upper Sixth take up places at Russell Group universities and this looks set to continue. We are equally pleased for those who may have missed dizzying academic heights but have achieved their best.  Grades are not more important than character; we are proud of this wonderful year group and wish them all the very best for their future.”
