Cobham Hall IB Results 2015Cobham Hall’s Year 13 students received their International Baccalaureate Diploma results yesterday.  Many congratulations are due as they have set high standards yet again by obtaining a pass rate of 89%, significantly above the most recently published corresponding world average rate.  Additionally, over 37% of those obtained the much more demanding and highly valued Bi-lingual Diploma after completing a significant proportion of their final examinations in a second language.

Fittingly in a school devoted to all round achievement, high scores were recorded in a wide range of individual subjects including Art, Biology, English, Environmental Systems and Society, Geography, French, Spanish, Russian, Mathematics and Theatre.

Cobham Hall’s Headmaster, Mr Paul Mitchell, commented, “These results reflect much hard work by pupils and staff during the two years of the IB course.  Our Leavers go on to the next stage of their education very well prepared to thrive in their new environment.”

Leading by example, the school’s Guardian comfortably exceeded the required score for her first choice university and will be taking up her place in September, as will her classmates.  Pupils taking the International Baccalaureate courses option also gained places at their chosen destinations.

Congratulations to all those girls and good luck to them all for the future.
