Year 8's Molly Smockum-Owen competed last weekend in the National Schools Equesterian Association (NSEA) show D'Overbroecks Collegejumping competiton at Bury Farm, Leighton Buzzard.

In very windy conditions, Molly and her horse Henry went double clear, meaning they picked up no faults in either the first round or the jump-off.

However, with 180 competitors in their class competition was strong and Molly and Henry missed out on a place in the top eight.

Molly is one of eight riders on the d’Overbroeck’s College Horse Riding team.

This year we have become part of the NSEA and the team have been representing the College in a number of competitions across the county.
