Kingham Hill Independent Boarding School ResultsKingham Hill School is celebrating a hat trick of excellent school inspection reports in 2010.

In February, the school received a high-powered visit from a New England Association of Schools and Colleges inspection team. Following a glowing report, Kingham Hill became the first British boarding school to receive accreditation. In April, CReSTeD inspected and another very pleasing report was forthcoming, confirming the school’s registration as having a high quality and officially approved Dyslexic Unit.

The hat trick was completed with the all-important ISI inspection report that followed two separate inspections during October and November.

Headmaster, Nick Seward, is thrilled with all three reports. Of the most recent, he comments: “This is a fantastic result! I am so proud of our fabulous pupils, my excellent and hard-working staff, and our supportive and enthusiastic parents. Kingham Hill is a special place, in a special setting, with a special future, and I’m so glad that the inspection team have recognised all of that.”

The report contains many highlights. The following excerpt probably sums up why Kingham Hill is increasing successful and popular.

“Relationships between staff and pupils, and amongst pupils themselves, are congenial and mutually respectful. Pupils are both self-aware and appreciative of teachers, tutors, staff and house parents, who demonstrate their dedication to the school’s Christian values.”

The school is growing in size, enjoying improved academic success and performing increasingly well on the sports field. Plans are well progressed for a £5M centre-piece academic building.
