In December 2012, the College held its third annual Christmas Cake Raffle for members of of staff. 
The cake was once again beautifully made and decorated by Nicki Cuff and Abby Dare from the College Catering department. This year the raffle was as popular as ever and the total money raised was an impressive £100.05.
The money was donated to St Margret's Hospice in Yeovil, a local charity which provides care for patients with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease and chronic lung disease.
With the money being donated to an excellent cause, the winner of the raffle was inspired to donate the cake to the hospice too.
Thank you to Nicki and Abby without whom the competition would not be possible and also to all the staff who bought a raffle ticket and help raise funds for this wonderful charity. St Margret's Hospice were pleased to receive the donation and the cake was enjoyed by the patients on Christmas Day.
