The quality of teaching and pupils’ learning at King’s Bruton is excellent, according to the Independent Schools 
Inspectorate (ISI). The pastoral care at King’s is also considered excellent.
The glowing report follows an “outstanding” Ofsted report and last year’s best ever A Level results .
The Headmaster, Ian Wilmshurst, said he was delighted with the report. “The staff at King's are providing a quality education for all pupils; I was particularly pleased that the inspectors acknowledged that our pupils work hard, aim high and look after each other. The lead inspector concluded her verbal feedback to me by saying, ‘Headmaster, you should be very proud of this school.’ I am.”
