The Friends’ School May Fair on Saturday 7th May proved a fabulous family day out for the Saffron Walden community in what was some very warm weekend weather. Held on the school’s extensive playing fields, there was something for everyone including pony rides, a miniature train, the climbing wall and zorbing, all proving very popular options, while all the traditional stalls were also kept busy through out the day.
Head, Anna Chaudhri said, “It was fantastic to see the crowds arrive to enjoy such a great and well organised event at the school in such beautiful sunshine. Sincere thanks to our marvellous PTA who worked so hard to make the May Fair such a success! Thanks also to Tucker Gardner for their support and sponsorship of the event.”
