Fifteen-year-old Michael Craig, of Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh, is making a name for himself, as he goes from strength to strength in his young sporting career.
Having already represented GB in the Pentathlon at a Youth International in Gloucester in March, Michael was selected for the Junior Team to represent Scotland at the Windsor Horse Show Tetrathlon in May.
The honour of being selected for this event, in which organisers say standards are very high across the country, is part of a double success for Michael who has also been named Junior Sports Personality of the Year for South Ayrshire. Michael enjoyed returning to his home town of Ayr to receive the award.
The School is extremely proud of Michael and congratulates him on this fantastic achievement. Michael completes a rigorous training regime each week alongside his academic studies and the School are delighted that he has been recognised for his talent and dedication.
