Michael Craig is one of Merchiston’s many sporting talents and this week he was thrilled to be selected to compete in the Pentathlon at the Youth International in Gloucester on 5 March 2011 against four other competing nations; Hungary, France, Ireland and Portugal. It will be a full one day competition and all athletes will swim, fence and complete the 3 x 1000m Combined Event. Prizes/Awards will however be made to top 3 athletes in both genders.
Michael completes a rigorous training regime each week and the School are delighted that he has been recognised for his talent and hard-work.
