Monkton Pre-Prep continues to be recognised as an exceptional Early Years care provider when it was awarded the Bristol Standard earlier this year. The Bristol Standard is a ‘gold standard’ accreditation and is awarded to Early Years settings where staff are required to carry out a self-evaluation framework and commit themselves to continuous quality improvement. This accreditation received by Monkton follows on from the recent success of an outstanding ISI inspection report.
The continual improvement at the Pre-Prep also extends to its day to day operations as this year sees the start of a new breakfast club running every morning from 7.45am and after school care running until 6pm. Pre-Prep staff and pupils have also returned to school to spend their final year in their current building known as Glenburnie. Development has started on the school site to provide a new Pre-Prep and Nursery building linked to the Prep School, bringing together the teaching resources and creating new state-of-the-art facilities.
