DSC_1077Cobham Hall is celebrating after their best results to date from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) Performance or Communication examinations – 96% passed with either a Merit or Distinction; with 50% achieving Distinction.

Entrants this year, some 20% of the student body, ranged from Year 7 to Year 13 girls.  LAMDA examinations are offered to students at Cobham Hall following Voice, Drama and Communication lessons.  These lessons are available to all students to help develop self-confidence, voice projection, self-expression, general communication and theatrical skills.

Voice, Drama and Communication teacher Mrs Gough said “I am still grinning from ear to ear, girls achieving their gold level, or silvers with distinction.  I am doubly proud because all of the younger students were taught by Miss Elliott and she has worked wonders with her students, one of whom scored a staggering 90 out of 100 marks. Well done girls you have achieved wonderful results!”
