Netball League
On the 30th of January the U13s played Carmel B team. We played two 14 minute quarters. In the first half we did some good dodging and had some great catches from Anna ,the end of the first half’s score was 2-2. Mrs wood gave us a good talk about our jump turns and our fast passes. We played really well in the second half but sadly we were letting them get some more goals and sadly the end time score was 3-5. Mrs Wood thinks we should go out and have more netball practice for next time. Better luck next time girls

Netball Knockout Match
On Thursday 5th February, Year 7 girls played the Education Village in the Knockout. The first half was steady and we were drawing 3 – 3. In the second half we upped our game improving our footwork, dodges, passing and our shooting skills were much better which paid off as the final score was 10 – 3 to Polam Hall. Very well done girls and good luck in the Cup Final.

U11 Netball
On Tuesday 24th February the under 11s girls netball team played Durham High School away. When we got there we were a little nervous as we did not know what to expect – the last time we played Durham High they won however we have had a lot of practice since and much improved our game. In the first half we played well however Durham High were dodging fast with accurate passes. We were disappointed with the half time score of 1 goal for us to their 4 goals. In the second half we played much better in attack and defence scoring a further 2 goals and only letting in 3 more goals. The final score was 7-3 to Durham High.
Well done and an excellent effort from everyone. Let’s hope we continue to improve and the team are looking forward to our next match on Friday against Bow School. Good luck.
Lily Edwards – Games Captain
