Students and staff are celebrating a fantastic set of GCSE results at Ratcliffe College, with 97% of students achieving five or more A* to C grades (any subject). Particular congratulations must go to: Helen Baird, Robert Bourne, Katherine Carter, Daniel Chin, Helen Croysdale, Andrew Curnick, Alice Gilbert, Edward Grundy, Alex Hazell, Erin Hughes, Matthew Nutter, Thomas Park, Harriet Philpott, James Richardson, William Rigby, Ashley Stokes and Ernie Tung who all achieved 8 or more A* and A grades in their subjects.
Headmaster, Mr Gareth Lloyd, commented:
“This year’s GCSE results represent a superb all-round performance by Ratcliffe students. The most able girls and boys achieved the highest grades across the board; yet there were exceptional results from all students, and very nearly all achieved at least a Grade B
in all of their examinations. This reflects excellently on the students, and of course their teachers, and bodes very well for the future.”
