BAAF is one of Britain’s leading adoption and fostering charities that every year helps find families for some of the 4000 children that are waiting for adoption.

The pupils were led on a rollercoaster ride of song and emotions, led by Andrew Barton who was adopted as a baby and has grown up to be one of the UK’s most celebrated hairdressers, Rock legend Rick Wakeman and comedian Kev Orkian. A sample video of the event is now on youtube.

Andrew Jenkin’s, Head of Music at the Southwold school commented, “The pupils all had a fantastic day and performed at their very best.” The songs that they performed included “Sweet Child of Mine,” “I want a Mum,” “This Little light of Mine,” Schubert’s “Ave Maria” and “Don’t stop believing!”
