Westonbirt School is delighted to play host to the Festival Players Theatre Company on Wednesday 3 July 2013 for an open air evening performance of Romeo and Juliet.

With the School as a dramatic backdrop visitors are invited to bring their own picnics and seating to enjoy in the gardens from 6pm before the 7pm curtain.

Come and share the excitement, energy and passion of this fast-moving play which balances tragedy with comedy and romance, telling one of literature’s greatest stories of Renaissance love and revenge.

The Festival Players Theatre Company is a well established professional Gloucestershire-based company delivering the best in open air Shakespeare across the country.

The company was founded by actress and director Trish Knight-Webb who, in 1986, directed their first production of Romeo and Juliet.
