The Cygnets and Swans at Ratcliffe College had a marvellous time on Friday 8th of March celebrating World Book 
Day. The Nursery School was awash with pirates, princesses and super heroes.
The children all thoroughly enjoyed talking about their characters in front of their friends and the day was spent re-enacting and talking about their favourite stories.
We learnt about the power and magic of being transported in our minds to enchanting places. The photographs speak for themselves; it was such a special day.
Headmaster Mr Gareth Lloyd commented: “What a delight it has been to see the children so engaged with their reading.
Their little faces lit up at almost every moment as they shared their lovely stories with each other. Congratulations to all the staff who made this possible, and learning such fun!”
