The School
BCS Senior School (age 11–18) is situated adjacent to the golden beaches of Bournemouth in excellent accommodation that has undergone a £2m investment in 2010/11. As a medium-sized co-educational day/boarding school, with a thriving international and global philosophy, rooted in atraditional UK education, the School is now one of the fastest-growing independent schools in the UK. We strive to find ‘the best in everyone’and have a strong Oxbridge programme in the vibrant and successful Sixth Form; an experienced team who support students with English as an additional language (EAL); and an active full, weekly and flexi-boarding community.

New Boarding Houses
Due to significantly increased demand BCS opened a new boarding house, with en-suite rooms, in September 2011. The School has witnessed a fourfold increase in boarding numbers from home and abroad in the last three years.

Sports Academy

All-round Education
The School’s extracurricular activities, weekday and weekend boarding activities are extensive. Performing arts and music are strong departments with a host of performances, while the School has dynamic art and technology departments.

University Success
Typically 100% of our Year 13 students gain access to their first-choice course at university. At GCSE and A-level, one in three grades are A*/A.
