What makes us unique?
We host a wide range of extracurricular activities, including the Goodwill Ambassador Programme to Southeast Asia and the International Space Settlement Design Competition (ISSDC). In 2012 and 2011 our students came first in the final of ISSDC, which was held at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. This project allows the students to push themselves academically, whilst adding a global perspective to their work experience portfolios.
Located in the vibrant city of Cardiff, our small college prides itself on the fact that our students form strong bonds with each other whilst being encouraged to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities in a friendly environment. Our aim is to prepare students for a well-balanced, modern life.

In both 2011and 2012 CSFC was ranked Top Sixth form college by A-level results, and ranked Top Co-Educational Boarding School in 2012 by the Spectator.

Taster Days

Choosing a college for your future studies is a difficult but very important decision. We do not offer Open Days, but to invite potential applicants to spend a day or half a day with us. We believe that these ‘taster’ days allow students to get a “feel” for the way the college works and to speak to current students and staff. These days can be arranged by prior appointment and should provide all the information needed to reach a decision that is right for you.

Visits will usually include a tour of the school and sports facility, a meeting with a senior member of academic staff, and a tour of the accommodation (if applicable).

To arrange a visit on a date that suits you, please just call us on 029 20 493 121 and we will be happy to arrange it. A visit does not commit you to an application; it is a chance for you to find out more about the school and the students.

My experience at Cardiff Sixth Form College is one which I believe could not be matched by any other college. A major feature of this college that still continues to appeal to me is the small student body which, complemented with the high-levels of dedication from all teachers and staff, makes for a highly focused approach which allows for a consistent achievement of academic excellence.

With a ‘work hard, play hard’ ethos, CSFC has helped me to develop both academically and socially, whether it is by participation in the annual Cultural Event or through my involvement in Debate and Badminton clubs. I believe my time here at CSFC has been an incredible experience, and it is both an honour and a pleasure to be able to study at such a respectable institution. These cherished moments are experiences which will stay with me long after I have left CSFC, my second home.
