Kent College is at the cutting edge of technology and all students are routinely provided with a Macbook pro laptop. The whole school has wi fi connection and students are taught to embrace change.

Kent CollegeEducational achievement
Pupils are given every opportunity and support to achieve academic excellence. The norm is to have a 100% pass rate at A-level and GCSE with the majority of students receiving A* to B grades. Our students go on to courses at all the main universities including Oxford and Cambridge. This academic strength reflects the school’s small class sizes and the quality of its exceptionally well-qualified and experienced teaching staff.

Kent CollegeBoarding
The Junior School is stands in a glorious parkland setting. It provides a stimulating and supportive environment for boys and girls aged 3–11. Boarding is available from the age of 7. This setting allows children to thrive in a safe and happy atmosphere where their individuality is fostered. The majority of students progress, naturally, to the Senior School.
There are four boarding houses on the Senior School campus, two for boys and two for girls, each with houseparents for whom this is their family home. Every child is given personal attention and supervision, and new arrivals are given special help to settle into their new home.
Recent investment has brought accommodation up to an exceptional standard Students and parents benefit from flexibility as the school provides termly, weekly and occasional boarding.

The cultural dimension
Music and drama play a central role in the life of the school, with many plays and concerts each year. Our new Music Centre offers facilities as good as any in the South of England. The outstanding work produced in our art department is proudly displayed throughout the school.

Kent CollegeSporting success
Kent College teams make formidable competitors in any sport. Hockey is a particular strength, with national titles won every year. Regular representation by our pupils in county, regional and national squads is encouraged and enhanced by the school's scholarship programme.

Achievements:  Head of House, School Prefect.Kent College boarding school russion student

This is my 5th year at Kent College and since I came here the school has become my second home. When I’m at Kent College I don’t really feel homesick because of all the help I get from House Staff and other students. Kent College is an international school because we have people from 30 different nationalities here. Living in a boarding house gives me the big advantage of learning about different cultures. Also it is a big advantage for the future, because you will have friends all over the world and if you need assistance they can help you out!

Another advantage of being a boarder is that you can partake in many different activities, because there are so many activities to choose from.  I used to play in the rugby team last year, but I’m not able to play this year because of my age. I have also been engaged in many extra – curricular activities but I can still easily keep up with my studies.

Last academic year I was honoured to be elected as a Head of my Boarding House and as a School Prefect.  It is a quite big responsibility, which I really enjoy. In the boarding community we have trips like going to Thorpe Park and going to the cinema. These are always interesting and they help older students integrate with new and younger students.

Studying in a boarding school is really good preparation for university life. In the last five years I have learned to be responsible and independent, and how to communicate with different types of people. Kent College has provided me with good opportunities. I have really enjoyed every moment of my time here.
