Three pupils from Sedbergh School have received offers to study at Oxford and Cambridge.
Will Ross and Maja Segger have offers from Cambridge to study medicine at Pembroke College and engineering at Emanuel College respectively, with Charlie Papworth receiving an offer to read law at Christ Church, Oxford.
The pupils serve the school as prefects and Charlie has also played rugby for Welsh Academicals and the U18 national side, with Will a member of the UK rifle shooting team.
Headmaster Andrew Fleck commented: “We are determined to offer the very best individual pathway for each pupil whether they are destined for the best universities, wish to study music, art, drama or pursue a career in sport or in the forces. I am delighted for Charlie, Will and Maja who are outstanding students and grateful for all the support they have received from their teachers and tutors.”
