The King’s College Under 14 girls’ hockey players have been crowned county champions in the recent schools’ county hockey tournament.
They finished top of their group with 2-0 wins over Queen’s and Wells Cathedral School, and a 1-1 draw against King’s, Bruton.
In their semi-final they beat Taunton School 2-0, creating numerous chances with slick, accurate passing, and then won the final against Queen’s, with clinical finishing and calm, focused defence resulting in a comfortable 2-0 victory.
