The Godolphin Art & Design department, supported by the Music department, held a very successful private 
view event in London recently to celebrate 25 Years of Art & Design at Godolphin.
The event, held at etc.venues The Hatton, in Hatton Garden, was a multifaceted occasion with invitations extended to the Heads of London prep schools, as well as the Heads of Art and Music at various London prep schools. Prospective parents from in and around London, as well as current London parents, were also invited.
Invitations were also extended to all art scholars at Godolphin over the past 25 years. This was a unique opportunity for “old girls” to get together with the common denominator being their time spent studying art at Godolphin.
The event was open to all OGs on both the Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and was very well attended with more than 100 OGs visiting the exhibition over the two days.
The exhibition will hang in The Hatton until December 7 and is open to the public as well as to all corporate clients attending conferences and workshops at the venue.
etc.venues hosted their own corporate view of the exhibition to which they invited their clients and supporters. This function was attended by almost 80 guests who were astonished at the calibre of the work on display.
“This work is amazing… are you sure it has been done by school girls” asked one conference organiser.
“Stunning, incredible, brilliant – what more can I say?” said a city based event manager.
“Does Godolphin only specialise in art” asked yet another, who was astonished to hear that art is one of many things at which Godolphin excels.
