Abbots Bromley dance and musical theatre students took to the stage recently to perform a variety of routines.
Over 100 students participated in the eclectic show, performing on two nights to a sell-out audience. The first part of the show saw a children’s ballet routine celebrate the 250th anniversary of the modern circus, followed by a collection of modern dances showcased by vocational dance and musical theatre students. The show concluded with ballet performances of ‘Raymonda Act III’ by vocational dance students.
Marianne Alkins, director of dance, commented: “I am very pleased with this year’s major dance production. Students of all ages performed beautifully and obviously enjoyed every minute.”
