Abbots Bromley Prep School under 11 netball team have achieved tremendous results recently, winning not only the Abbots BromleyStafford and District U11 netball league but also the Stafford and District Under 11 tournament, held recently at Penkridge Middle School, making them top of the league.

During the season, the team also won the Local Prep School Netball Tournament, which was held at Abbots Bromley School, and won friendlies against local competitor schools Lichfield Cathedral and Smallwood Manor.

The team, made up of pupils from years 5 and 6, have been playing together since September and have performed consistently all season.

They put their success and team spirit down to the fact they are all friends and their fantastic coach, Mrs Spratt, who has supported them every step of the way.

“We are delighted with the achievements of the AB U11 Netball team this season” says Mrs Jonhson, Head of the Abbots Bromley Prep School.

“They have shown great determination and team spirit, practising whenever they can and developing their skills to ensure they played every game to the best of their ability. The team are a credit to AB and we hope to retain our place at the top of the league in the future.”
