MP Andrew Bridgen visited the school to talk to Government and Politics students about his life in politics.
The North West Leicestershire MP spoke about his role in the local constituency and his responsibilities at Westminster, including his membership of various committees. 
Andrew Bridgen is welcomed by student Gabby Tracey. He then led a question and answer session on topical issues, including education and MPs' pay.
Stuart Hicks, Head of Humanities, said: "It was useful for the students to be able to hear some of the individual case studies that Mr Bridgen has to deal with in his constituency, and the role he performs as an MP at Westminster."
Mr Bridgen answered questions from students and staff.
