Celebrated author GP Taylor came to visit St Peter's School in Clifton, York, to talk to the pupils. Mr Taylor, who 
wrote books such as Shadowmancer and the Mariah Mundi series arrived at St Peter's wearing, appropriately, all black.
Mr Taylor, who lives on the North Yorkshire coast, spoke to Sixth Form English students about his writing career and gothic literature, and took questions from pupils about their own research into gothic works.
Mr Taylor’s books Shadowmancer and Mariah Mundi and the Midas Box are both in the process of being adapted into big budget movies.
