The Governors and Headmaster of Bearwood College have announced that it is to affiliate with a leading group of schools, United Learning.
United Learning is a national educational charity consisting of over 30 independent schools and academies including Guildford High School, Surbiton High School, Lincoln Minster School and Paddington Academy.
Announcing the news, Liz Langley, Chair of Governors said:
“Every successful school needs a secure and ambitious future with the ability to enhance what it offers its pupils.
By being part of a national group of forward?thinking schools like United Learning, we can provide current and future generations of Bearwood staff and pupils opportunities that we could never offer on our own.
“As a long?established educational charity, United Learning understands our history and traditions and shares our values.
Its core focus on educational excellence will provide a real boost to our existing academic reputation whilst offering enhanced opportunities for our pupils to take part in extra?curricular activities nationally. We are all very excited by this opportunity and look forward to it moving forward.
