On 24 March Emma Duncan (Block 4), Jojo Mosely (Block 5) and Rosie Geaves (Block 2) and their horses competed Bedales School at the school’s first NSEA show jumping event at Crofton Manor Equestrian Centre.

There were 60+ competitors in each class and 30 schools competing.

Despite the cold weather the team did really well; Emma on Pommery had eight faults in the Intermediate class (at 90-95cm) and narrowly missed out on a placing in the Jumping With Style course despite having the fastest time.

Jojo on Busteroo competed in the Novice (80-85cm) and Intermediate classes and unfortunately had poles down in both but gained invaluable experience in their first time jumping in an indoor arena.

Rosie on Freckles rode a tremendous clear round in the Novice class which gained her a place in the top 10 beating competitors who were considerably older.
