Students from Bedales senior and prep schools enjoyed a masterclass with Olympic diver Peter Waterfield as 
part of the school's gifted and talented sports programme.
Peter, who won an Olympic silver medal in Athens and partnered Tom Daley in London 2012, helped students to develop dive techniques through trampolining sessions and gave an inspirational talk on his Olympian journey.
The Bedales gifted and talented programme runs across both the prep and senior schools in academic subjects, the arts and sport. Its aim is to develop students' skills and abilities through workshops with professionals, experts and accomplished performers.
Earlier in the academic year, bronze medal winning hockey player Alex Danson worked with the students to develop their hockey skills and Sean Kerly, who won gold at the '88 olympics in Seoul taught students from Bedales Prep, Dunhurst.
Commenting on the programme, Dominic Oliver, Managing Head of Bedales, said: "Our students have learned a great deal from the Olympians visiting Bedales; not least that dedication is the key to achievement.
Through training alongside these sporting greats, students hone their skills and techniques, and learn to believe that anything is possible with the right level of effort and commitment. The gifted and talented programme is all about inspiring young minds to help 
develop the next generation of academics, artists and athletes."
