In August 2013 I am participating in a charity cycle ride in support of The Matt Hampson Foundation. It is a 4 day event Bedford Schoolcycling London-Amsterdam-Brussels and covering 360 miles.

Matt Hampson was a Leicester Tigers and England rugby player who was paralysed and as a result has set up his own charity supporting people who encounter serious sporting injuries.

I have been able to meet Matt Hampson and have been inspired by the tremendous help he has given others despite his debilitating injury. It is my intention to raise as much as I can for this very worthwhile charity.

Donations

There are collecting tins in the Bell Room and School Shop. The charity does not have a just giving option but cheques may be handed in to the Bell Room, or given to Matthew or Mrs Medley (made payable to The Matt Hampson Foundation). Any donations will help change the lives of young people affected by a catastrophic injury through sport.
