Bethany School A level resultsBethany School students are once again celebrating an impressive series of A Level exam results with a 98% pass rate. The broad range of students’ academic interests is successfully reflected in their university destinations. Tom Frank, from Wadhurst, is off to Exeter to study History having achieved straight A grades, whilst Harry Street from Ticehurst secured a scholarship to read Politics.

Amy Fang, will soon be studying Urban Design at University College London, while Anne Vu got A* and A grades and is about to study Economics at the University of Bath. Our Art School tradition of sending excellent candidates to prestigious Art foundation courses continues as Ellie Porter, from Marden, who achieved A* grades in the Art subjects embarks upon the next stage of her career.

Congratulations also to scientists Ellie Ovens, Beth Parrot and Alexander Clayden-Spence who have realised their long term ambitions of studying Chemistry at Southampton, Dietetics at Coventry and Physics at Leeds respectively.

The pass rate is a fantastic reflection of two years of hard work by the students and the dedicated teaching body which has expertly guided them through their respective courses. We are thrilled with all of our student’s achievements.

Bethany proudly remains a non-selective school where all students have the opportunity to take courses that would be denied them elsewhere.

Francie Healy, Headmaster said…
This has been another tremendous year for Bethany School pupils. I am absolutely delighted that their hard work has paid off. Once again it is humbling so see so many pupils exceeding expectations through their sustained diligence and the professionalism and dedication of their wonderful teachers. The vast majority of our pupils are about to start courses at their preferred universities.”
