On the evening of Thursday 25th October, guest speaker Toby Hewson spoke to the Pengelly Society about living with cerebral palsy.
Toby is an inspiring example of how willpower and endeavour, in the face of adversity, helps us to succeed. In 2007 he established a charity, ‘Just Different’, which works tirelessly to raise awareness of disability, difference and diversity. In his unique witty and gritty style, Toby told us his story and shared with us his vision of a society in which people who are disabled or different are accepted and celebrated.
