Isabel Altendorf in Year 8 has been playing cricket for Lingfield Cricket Club for about three years. 
She started playing in the garden at home with her brothers when one day she asked her parents if they could find any girls for her to play with!
Last year her games teacher at her old school put her forward for U13 Surrey girls cricket trials which took place over three weekends.
Much to Issy’s delight she was selected for the county age group winter training squad and has started training every Saturday afternoon.
She was selected mainly for her pace bowling. She has on more than one occasion bowled out her 18 year old brother who is in the MCCU cricket academy at Durham University!
