The boys were successful after singing two songs each at auditions in Bristol and London last term. Robin sang songs from Mary Poppins and Sweeney Todd, while Bobby sang Handel’s ‘Silent Worship’ and ‘Consider yourself’ from Oliver.
Between 20,000 and 30,000 young people apply each year for the prestigious choir. First on the agenda is a residential coaching course in Oxfordshire in April followed by a concert in Birmingham.
