BCS Swimming Academy pupil, Beth Aitchison was swimming with the elite at the British Gas Open International 
Championships at the weekend.
Despite stiff competition Beth won the Junior Final in the 200m breast stroke. She also picked up 3rd place in the 100m breast stroke.
BCS Coach Adam Parfitt said, “Beth swam some big PB’s. We are incredibly proud of her achievements and constant improvement.”
Beth added, “I was really pleased with my swims and very happy to have two new PB’s!”
Fellow Swimming Academy pupil Alice Tai stepped up to the weekend’s challenges too. Alice, who is still in heavy training leading into the World Championship Trials in April qualified for 5 finals and picked up 5 PB’s along the way!
