SONY DSCFollowing the disaster of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines three months ago, students at Bromsgrove school have been fundraising to help fund relief efforts for the British Red Cross.  Activities included a bag pack at a local supermarket; a Krispy Kreme initiative, where students contacted Krispy Kreme and were given doughnuts to sell to other students;  a year 9 read-a-thon.  The total amount raised was £3,200.  The money will be used to help the British Red Cross with continued efforts to help people without basic living amenities. John Turner from the British Red Cross came into School to accept the cheque for the British Red Cross and was delighted by all the efforts of the pupils to raise so much money.
