A Bromsgrove School pupil has been honoured for her achievements in athletics.
Thirteen-year-old Candy Lockett was awarded the Stan James Trophy for Outstanding Young Athlete 2012 as well as the U15 Girls’ Field Trophy.
The Year 9 pupil received her trophies at an awards ceremony held by her club, Bromsgrove and Redditch Athletics Club.
Candy is a strong all-round athlete, with her strengths being the shot, discus and javelin along with the triple jump and running events.
The School sends its warmest congratulations to Candy on her achievement.
