177 pupils sat 544 A level examinations and 49 BTEC qualifications.  23% of all results were graded A*, 58% were graded A*/A and a superb 87% of all results were graded A* to B.  The average UCAS tariff at A level was 442 which is equivalent to A*, A, A at A level with a further A grade in an AS level subject. These fantastic results follow on from the School’s best ever IB average score of 37.5 points, which included a perfect score of 45 points for Constantin von Crailsheim – a feat achieved by only 150 candidates world-wide.

Special mention goes to local boy Lewis Turner who achieved 4 A*s at A level and an A at AS level. Lewis has secured his place at the University of Birmingham to study Medicine.

Peter Ruben, Second Deputy Headmaster Academic, said, “These wonderful results are a testament to the hard work of pupils and staff.  We are all very proud of them”.
