Bromsgrove School is delighted that four of its current Upper Sixth Form pupils have received offers of places and scholarships from prestigious North American and Canadian universities.

Eleanor Ball, an IB Diploma student has been offered an International Leaders of Tomorrow (ILOT) Scholarship, a full 4 year all-inclusive scholarship at the University of British Columbia, Canada. The International Leader of Tomorrow Award recognizes international undergraduate students who demonstrate superior academic achievement, leadership skills, involvement in student affairs and community service, recognized achievement in fields of endeavour such as the performing arts, sports, debating or creative writing, or external academic competitions and examinations.

Connie E, an A Level student has been offered a place on the University Honors Program in International Affairs in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities and in recognition of her exceptional scholastic and personal achievements has been offered a place on the University Scholars Programme for a full 4 year Academic Scholarship at Northeastern University, Boston USA.

Theodore Wiklund, an IB Diploma student, has been admitted to the University of Kansas Honors Program.  He has received three four year scholarships:  the Jayhawk Generations Scholarship, the School of Engineering Dean’s Scholar and Department of Mechanical Engineering Scholarship.

Declan McManus, an A Level student has been offered an unconditional offer of an NCAA Level 1 Full Athletics Scholarship  at Belmont University,  Tennessee USA for a 4 year degree in Business Administration.

Mrs Fran Bateman, the School’s Head of International University Applications said, “Bromsgrove School is absolutely delighted that the significant talents of these Bromsgrovians have been recognised and rewarded by such  incredibly competitive University scholarships.   Last year we saw two talented leavers rewarded with similar scholarships and we hope to see many more talented Bromsgrovians follow in all of their footsteps.”
