Bromsgrove School’s Best Ever GCSE Results

Abbots Bromley GCSE Results 2014Bromsgrove School is delighted to announce its best ever GCSE and IGCSE results, following on from its best ever IB results and outstanding A level results.

 

165 pupils sat 1594 GCSE and IGCSE examinations with a number of pupils also taking AS levels and the Extended Project. In the core subjects of English, Mathematics and the Sciences, all pupils sat the more challenging IGCSE. Overall, 34.4% of all grades were at A*, 64% at A*/A with 88% at A* to B. Straight A*s in eleven subjects were achieved by local pupils Karan Gour, Alice Vaughan, Niall Simmons and Joseph Morrice. In Physics, Biology, French, Latin, Design and Art more than 80% of candidates gained an A* or A grade.
