Mark Coreth is an internationally renowned sculptor of the wild environment and an environmental campaigner. His work includes sculptures created for Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the Natural History Museum. Passionate about conservation, Mark uses his sculptures to spread awareness of environmental issues across the world, including support for WWF’s Year of the Tiger Campaign.

In ‘A Sculptural Adventure’ Mark will be providing a talk and film on his inspirational Ice Bear Project in which he has sculpted a polar bear from ice in locations around the world, including Copenhagen, London’s Trafalgar Square, Toronto, Quebec and Sydney. He will also participate in a live sculpting performance.

The Ice Bear Project is a not-for-profit arts organisation and is being used to spread awareness of climate change and the effects this has on the Artic and its inhabitants. The first ice bear was displayed in Copenhagen during the 2009 UN Climate Change Conference.
