Girls Build A Baby Bear in Brighton!
The youngest pupils at Burgess Hill School for Girls had the chance to “Build a Bear” at the Build-A-Bear Workshop in Churchill Square, Brighton.
The Reception class went on the school trip as part of their topic on toys.
The girls helped to stuff three bears; a daddy bear, a mummy bear and a baby bear and chose to make a school baby bear for their classroom. Each pupil was able to put a heart inside the bear, named Rosie, and helped to choose her outfit.
Class teacher, Mrs Durrant said “We have studied old toys and toys from the past and this was a chance to look at modern day toys and find out how the bears are chosen, made and finished in the shop.”
The class trip follows a recent visit to Hove Museum’s National Toy Museum in February.
