Burgess Hill School entered the Sussex Schools’ Cross Country Championships on Saturday 21st January at Lancing Manor.
The Junior team consisted of girls from Years 8 and 9. The team members excelled themselves by winning by a clear 42 points.
Special congratulations to Rebecca Chee, Year 8, who came 4th place, gaining a place in the English Schools’ Championships which will be held in Taunton in March.
Well done also to Georgie Little, Year 9, who came 10th place and Erin Bateman, Year 8, who came 14th place. All three girls will run in the Inter-County match in Basildon on Saturday 4th February.
