Cardiff Sixth Form College (CSFC), the number one school in the UK for A-level results over the past 10 years, is announcing exciting new plans for development.
The College – which is a member of the Dukes Education family of schools – attracts top students from all around the world and has an excellent reputation for progression to leading academic universities, will be opening a second campus for A-level students in the heart of the university city of Cambridge in September 2022.
A natural fit for academic students, many of whom go on from CSFC to Cambridge University to study subjects such as medicine, engineering, economics and law, the new Cambridge campus will offer A-level students excellent quality teaching staff, many of whom also teach at or are alumni from Cambridge University, university course-specific lectures and work placements alongside their studies.
Dukes Education also has two further schools located in Cambridge in St Andrew’s College and Sancton Wood School and, plans for the exciting new campus for CSFC are a key component in Dukes’ investment and growth strategy.
Gareth Collier will become Principal of Cambridge and Cardiff whilst current Head, Tom Arrand, will focus on Cardiff. Teachers, boarding staff and careers professionals will be working across both the Cardiff and Cambridge campuses on specific projects.
