Caterham School Pupils Selected for Netball Academies

A number of netball players at Caterham School are celebrating their selection for Netball Academies.

Connie Shaw and Hattie Wildman (pictured left) have been selected for the County Netball Academy 2011/2012. This Academy is for the best 14-18 year old players in Surrey.

Steph Kellaway, Gaby Criscuolo, Georgie Waterman and Rachel Galvin have been selected from over 200 girls for a place in one of the Satellite Netball Academies.

Chloe Wyner has been selected for the Elite Satellite Academy squad for girls aged 11-14, whilst Ellie Ibrahim has now recovered from injury and is a late trialist for this squad.

Their netball coach, Miss Jaclyn Leach, said: ‘Hattie and Connie have done extremely well to be selected from over 150 girls for the 28 places in the Academy. I am also delighted that four of our young players have been selected for the Satellite Academies. Of course Chloe and Ellie have really distinguished themselves with their play and, it shows great character for Ellie to battle back from injury. ’
