Wellington School is excited to announce that they will be hosting the Lashings All-Star Cricket team for a celebrity match on July 3rd.
There will be a lunch in the Marquee, followed by a cricket match featuring our 1st team versus the celebrity team. (And a yummy cream tea). The team will include some of the biggest names in cricket. The final line-up is yet to be confirmed, but we do know it will include Herschelle Gibbs, Tino Best, Gordon Greenidge and Shivnarine Chanderpaul. The legendary Test Match Special commentator Henry Blofeld will also be there, entertaining the gathering with stories from his past.
Tickets are now on sale at the box office – 01823 668850 / boxoffice@wellington-school.org.uk. They are priced at £50 per ticket for lunch and afternoon tea, (£450 for a table of 10) or £60 if you would like to be hosted by one of the celebrity cricketers (£550 per table of 10).
The afternoon will also feature an auction to win endless cricket memorabilia and even a Mini! The cricket nets will be open and Junior masterclasses with the stars will also be available.#

If you do not want to come to the lunch, spectators are welcome for a minimal entry fee – or bring your car and a picnic for £5
