A Cherwell College Oxford student has taken a giant step towards her Duke of Edinburgh Gold Medal by participating in a NASA course in London.

Victoria recently took part in Mission Discovery, a NASA-run Space and STEM summer programme, as part of her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Students for the NASA programme are selected from all over the world, receiving guidance under NASA astronauts and scientists to produce experiments that are to be conducted at the International Space Station.

Victoria is a Physics A-Level student entering Sixth Form at Cherwell after completing her GCSE studies at the college, and has a stellar reputation for excelling in her tutorials and a track-record of being heavily involved in various activities outside of her academic studies.
