The Claremont Equestrian team is a well established and supportive group of talented riders, who are now achieving consistent success across all disciplines.

Our Equestrian team secured their place in the National Championships later this month, making Claremont one of the top showjumping teams in the UK, and giving our riders the opportunity to compete against other top level sports people from across the country.

Equestrian Provision
Claremont is registered with the Nationals Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) and our riders compete in all hosted disciplines. We offer a livery service for a monthly fee to students who wish to bring their own horse or pony to Claremont. We can also help riders find the perfect horse here in East Sussex.

Training and Support
Our Team coach is a UKCC level 3 trained and in competition, has represented Great Britain. Supported by Claremont’s team manager, she attends competitions to run warm up sessions and to walk the course with our riders. Riders receive expert feedback and have the opportunity to train as a team.

Coaching in all disciplines
Alongside the equestrian programme our riders regularly compete in all the disciplines within the NSEA framework with success. We welcome riders that enjoy competing in all disciplines
from show jumping, racing, mounted games to polocrosse, dressage and eventing.

Girls make excellent progress at Claremont
In her unique role as Assistant Head (International) and Director of Boarding, Francoise Armstrong along with an experienced team of houseparents and teaching staff, is able to ensure a continuity of educational ethos, whilst nurturing a pastoral environment that fully supports personal growth and the wellbeing of all our girl boarders.
